Educational Oversight Review (EOR) is the method used for reviewing and monitoring private providers of higher education courses in the UK that do not receive direct annual public funding from any UK higher education funding or regulatory body.
Launched in July 2024, EOR replaces the four separate methods that were previously used: Higher Education Review (Alternative Providers); Higher Education Review (Foreign Providers); Recognition Scheme for Educational Oversight; and Educational Oversight: Exceptional Arrangements

Consultation outcomes
We undertook a consultation from March to May 2024 to seek views regarding the proposed new EOR method. This document details our response to the outcomes of the consultation.
